KARACHI: Pakistan’s first 3D stereoscopic animated feature film, “Allahyar and the 100 Flowers of God”, released on Eid ul Azha, hosted a special screening today in front of the press, socialites, and celebrities.

“Allahyar and the 100 Flowers of God” is the sequel to the critically acclaimed animated film, “Allahyar and the Legend of Markhor,” which was released in 2018.

The crowd was welcomed into the theatre following a busy Red Carpet where celebrities like Bushra Ansari, Humayun Saeed, Iqra Aziz, Nadia Hussain, Hania Aamir, Ushna Shah, Kubra Khan, Gohar, Ahad, Ramsha, Nida Yasir and Yasir Nawaz, Sheharyar Munawar, Mahira Khan, Sajjal, Yasir Akhter, Sania, Saima, Deepak Perwani, Adnan Shah Tipu, Agha Talal and Kiran, Faisal Naqvi, Mathira, Wajahat Rauf, Nabeela Bano and many more were spotted giving interviews and getting photographed.

The audience gave a standing ovation and a resounding response to the very entertaining Pakistani action-packed cartoon flick, which features an A-list cast. The first 3D Pakistani production was a huge hit with the audience, who were astounded by the incredible animation and cinematography. The local movie uses voice-over talent from the region, including actors like Humayun Saeed, Ali Zafar, Iqra Aziz, Meera, and Bushra Ansari. For the musical scores, singers Zafar, Ali Noor, Sanam Marvi, and Grehan The Band, will be lending their soulful voices.

Transporting viewers into a magical world filled with wonder, adventure, and valuable life lessons, the story of the animated film centres on Allahyar, a young boy from northern Pakistan who travels to a new world with his best friend in order to save his father from a race of robots that steal wood.

Starring Iqra Aziz as Aira, Azfar Jafri as Hero, Anum Zaidi as Allahyar, Ali Zafar as Minister, Meera as Bush Princes, Humayun Saeed as Sage, Bushra Ansari as Aunty Liz, Nadia Jamil as Cameo and Azlan as Azlan, the film lives up to its promise of quality acting along with action, drama and comedy, and what’s more, social messages that were greatly appreciated by the audience.

After the screening of the film, the cast and crew were available for questions and answers. Speaking on the occasion, Eyad Ibrahim, head of the marketing and promotions at 3rd World Studios, said “We are thrilled to unveil ‘Allahyar and the 100 Flowers of God’ as Pakistan’s first-ever, 3D animated film. As you saw, the studio’s relentless pursuit of excellence, coupled with cutting-edge technology, has brought this imaginative tale to life in a visually stunning 3D animation format. We are proud to be a part of Pakistan’s growing animation industry and contributing to its development.”

Presented by 3rd World Studios and distributed by Mandviwalla Entertainment, the film’s partners include Movella, the world’s leading 3D motion capture solution; Leisure Club, the official merchandise partners and McDonalds Pakistan amongst others.
