KARACHI: In Karachi’s Dhoraji area, the chaat thali (plate) containing various delicious dishes is attracting masses of the metropolis, who are enjoying the spicy taste of the chaat.
People who are fond of chaat say that Chaat Dilpasand Chaat House consists of Pani Puri, Mithi Puri, Bheel Puri, Sour Potato, Chana Papri and Dahi Bada which is very popular.
According to Dilpasand Chaat House, about 7 to 9 items are kept in the plate which is known as Indian thali and this work of making thali has been going on since before the establishment of Pakistan.
The chat house owner says that all kinds of flavors are available on the plate, which includes sour potatoes, hard black gram, curd flakes, white gram chaat and sweet sauce.
He says that in Indian thali, all the chat-patta items, including gol guppa, are beautifully decorated. People come to enjoy Indian thali from 4 pm to 4 am.
Concerning the price, the Dilpasand Chat House owner said that one plate is being sold at Rs. 300, which is enough for 2 to 3 people.
