Kami Sid isn't happy with male actors getting roles of transgender actors

Trans model Kami Sid has expressed displeasure with male actors getting the roles of trans and inter-sex instead of trans actors.

Kami Sid in a social media post said that she is not happy with male actors getting the roles of trans and inter-sex as this would take away the acting opportunities from an already marginalised community.

For those who are unaware Ali Rehman Khan will play a role of a transgender in an upcoming drama titled ‘Guru’ which will air on HUM TV channel and has been directed by Shazia Wajahat.

Earlier in an interview, Ali Rehman Khan revealed the reason of not marrying and said, “I didn’t marry because I haven’t found anyone, that’s true, actually, I am very picky.”

Ali Rehman Khan has performed in numerous hit projects including, Diyar-e-Dil, Jannan, Khaas, La Pata, Safar Tamam Hua, and Bewafa.
