Bieber will also trek on a Changes tour, in support of his fifth studio album. The announcement accompanied the launch of Bieber’s YouTube docuseries Seasons.
Last week, Bieber introduced the album during a private album playback event in Los Angeles, with Def Jam chairman Paul Rosenberg, longtime manager Scooter Braun and his wife Hailey among those in the room.
The heart throb recounted problems he faced growing up in the industry, and the love and support he felt from his inner circle.
“I don’t even think I should be alive never mind thrive,” he said in front of a crowd of a couple hundred gathered at Village Recorders. “There’s power in weakness,” he said adding that his creative work is “a reflection of that … thank you for loving me at my worst.”
The new album is led by “Yummy,” which has peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
