ISLAMABAD: Justice Qazi Faez Isa has claimed that that Prime Minister Imran Khan and several other politicians possess offshore companies.
Qazi Faez Isa in a written response stated in the presidential reference filed against him to the Supreme Court that Imran Khan was prominent amongst offshore companies holders. It was a 116-page response submitted by advocate Munir A Malik.
Justice Isa has claimed that his family was never involved in concealing any assets abroad using offshore companies. The defense counsel further appealed that the government had hired a private company in the UK to gather information about his client’s family but could not present any evidence of money laundering.
Justice Isa is currently facing a misconduct reference filed by President Arif Alvi against him in the Supreme Judicial Council.
