MANSEHRA: JUI-F leader Mufti Kifayatullah was attacked Tuesday night in Mansehra’s Cheech. His hand has been severely injured.
Five people in two cars followed Kifayatullah’s car. They rammed into his car, forcing it to stop. Police said
Leader JUI-F Mufti Kifayatullah and his two sons and another passenger were in the car. The police say the attackers all had their faces covered.

Kifayatullah was travelling to Mansehra from Islamabad. The group were taken to the King Abdullah Teaching Hospital
The attackers got out of the car and started beating the other group with rods. They all sustained injuries, with Kifayatullah sustaining severe injuries on his back, hand and other parts of his body.
According to Police, Kifayatullah’s son Hussain lodged an FIR at City police station under Section 324 (attempt to murder), 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon) and 149 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
