ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is expected to meet Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz today.
The news was confirmed by the PML-N spokeswoman Marriyum Aurangzeb. The upcoming meeting will also be participated by senior PML-N leaders. She said that Fazlur Rehman will hold its first meeting with PML-N leaders as the head of the opposition party, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Aurangzeb said that Fazlur Rehman and Maryam Nawaz will hold a consultation over political activities and the schedule of rallies to be organized by PDM. Moreover, PML-N postponed its session which would be chaired by its leader Nawaz Sharif today.
Additionally, PML-N will hold a power show in Karachi on 12th October. Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and other senior leaders of the party will attend the public meeting in Karachi.
The opposition’s PDM had earlier announced to hold a mass public meeting in Karachi on 18th October. Earlier, a multiparty alliance of the opposition had also announced to hold its first public gathering in Karachi instead of Quetta on October 18 i.e. Sunday.
