ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) headed by Maulana Fazlur Rehman has sacked four party leaders for violating party policy and discipline.
The leaders include Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Maulana Gul Naseeb and Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk. The disciplinary committee of JUI-F has cancelled the party membership of all four leaders and a notification will be issued soon. The decision was unanimously taken by the committee members Agha Ayub Shah, Maulana Abdul Wasay and Maulana Abdul Hakeem.
Maulana Sherani had strongly criticised Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and termed JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman as ‘selected’ and said the opposition would fail in its attempt to dislodge Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government as it had no ideology.
He said the JUI-F was a hereditary party and those who claimed otherwise were delusional. He said he has ordered his party workers to set up party offices across Balochistan.
Maulana Shuja ul Mulk also supported Maulana Sherani and highlighted irregularities in the party. He said the people were under the impression that the PDM was formed to escape the accountability process rather than resolving the nation’s problems.

Maulana Gul Naeeb alleged that ideological workers of JUI-F were being sidelined. Terming Maulana Sherani an honest man, he said the parameters of truth have now changed in the JUI-F after the inclusion of rich members in the party. He alleged the election tickets were being sold after the joining of Talha Mehmood and Azeemullah.
The party leaders had distanced themselves against the narrative of the PDM against state institutions. Earlier in November, party spokesman Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had opposed the party for following Nawaz Shari’s narrative. He was ultimately sacked for his position leading to strong resentment among party leaders.
