Pakistani actress and host Juggan Kazim has issued a public apology to rising star Alizeh Shah, following the young actress’s recent revelations about being mistreated by several senior industry figures.
Alizeh Shah recently made headlines after she began openly speaking about negative experiences she faced at the hands of seniors, naming personalities such as Shazia Manzoor, Yasir Nawaz, and Juggan Kazim.
Among her grievances, Alizeh recounted a controversial incident involving actress Minsa Malik, claiming she was slapped and pushed during a scene. She also addressed a four-year-old video in which Juggan Kazim mimicked her falling—an act that Alizeh said deeply hurt her.
In response, Juggan Kazim took to her official Instagram account to issue a sincere video apology. Addressing Alizeh directly, she said:
“Alizeh beta, I’m calling you beta because you’re the age of my son. If I unintentionally hurt you, I’m truly sorry. I had no idea the video had such an impact on you.
It really pained me to hear that you once respected me and were disappointed. As a senior, I should’ve been more responsible.”
Juggan added that the video clip in question was old and not intended to offend, but now that Alizeh has spoken out, she understands the hurt it caused. She also emphasized the importance of accountability:
“Had you messaged me privately, I would have apologized immediately. I always admit my mistakes—even within my own family. I’m now doing this publicly because you raised it publicly. I know what bullying feels like—I faced it too when I joined the industry.”
