Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor Jonathan Majors has been facing domestic violence charges which have caused him to part ways with a PR agency titled ‘Entertainment 360’.
In an era of the #MeToo movement, any actor who faces such accusations; be it sexual or verbal harassment, ends up losing many projects worth millions and boycotting campaigns too. So, will Marvel reprise his role as Kang in MCU’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania?
Domestic charges
The 33-year-old actor was arrested in 25 and charged with assault and harassment regarding a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old unidentified woman who is said to be his girlfriend. She was hospitalized with ‘minor injuries to her head and neck,’ according to authorities.
Actor dismisses allegations
Majors’ legal team denied the assault against the woman and claimed that evidence exists that would clear the actor of the charges.
Parting ways with Agency
This led to him being dissociated with a PR agency titled ‘Entertainment 360’.
No more part of Met Gala
Majors and fashion house Valentino mutually agreed that the actor would not be attending this year’s Met Gala as one of its guests.
His future as Kang
Majors’ Kang was set up to be the big bad of the MCU’s “Multiverse Saga” since his first appearance as “He Who Remains” in the season finale of Loki Season 1 on Disney+. After signing on to multiple MCU projects, Majors had a front-and-center presence when Kang appeared as the central antagonist in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which underperformed at the box office despite solid reviews for his performance.

Kang’s storyline will continue to be vital to the MCU when he appears next in Loki Season 2 and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. However, Marvel Studios may have a contingency plan to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to a new rumour.
As per a source, it has been claimed that Marvel Studios is eying a replacement akin to actors such as Damson Idris from the FX crime drama Snowfall, suggesting Idris’ casting opposite Brad Pitt in Apple’s untitled Formula One movie placed him on Marvel Studios’ radar.
However, no official statement regarding any change or replacement has been confirmed yet.
