The world’s fastest roller coaster in Japan has seriously injured four passengers, after which the coaster has since been shut down.
According to the report, from December 2020 to August 2021, four people have received complaints of bones fractures due to Japan’s roller coaster called Do-Dodonpa. This Japanese roller coaster can reach 112 mph in just over 1½ seconds. Do-Dodonpa, which runs at “super death” speed, according to Fuji-Q Highland Park, was shut down after four passengers reported suffering back and neck fractures after riding it.
However, many sources believe that the incidence of fractured bones or fractures may be much higher. Experts said that due to its high speed, people have suffered fractures due to the tremors. The roller coaster travels from zero to 180 km in just one and a half seconds, causing back and neck problems in people.
