Hania Aamir saw a meteoric rise in fame due to the amorous Hamza and the incredibly naive Hala in the hit drama series “Mere Humsafar” and this surge in popularity changes things for her as she opened up about her life on The Faiyza Beg Show.
The young actress discussed the difficulties of adjusting to newfound celebrity while remaining true to her frail human nature. She also discussed the emotional toll that fame can have on a person.
When asked about the fallout from the success of the show, she reflected, “After Mere Humsafar, things went a little crazy… At that time, I believe it was initially a little overwhelming. The flurry that frequently surrounds unexpected, increased popularity was illuminated by Hania’s open disclosure, as adulation and recognition can easily turn into a double-edged blade.”
“People would recognize me before, but when fame of that caliber strikes, it’s kind of confusing,” she continued, elaborating on the conflicting emotions that come with it. “It’s – you know – you’re thankful of course; you thank God because He chose me, gifted me with so many things, and I get the respect and love from so many people and it’s incredibly sweet, but as a frail tiny person it can be a bit intimidating at first.”
