Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has said there will be no ceasefire in the Gaza Strip till the release of prisoners.
According to official Arab sources, Israeli PM said they do not want to take control or seize power in Gaza. The fight against Hamas will continue in Gaza, but there will be a path for the evacuation of civilians during this period.
They further stated that they have set non-time-tabled goals for the war because it can take a considerable amount of time. Meanwhile, American authorities have said that if there is an agreement for the release of prisoners with Hamas, they are ready to escalate the conflict in Israel.
They clarified that Washington does not intend to force Israel into a ceasefire. American pressure has convinced Israel to change its strategy in the fighting in Gaza.
Earlier, the White House had stated that Israel has expressed approval for a temporary halt in operations in northern Gaza for four hours daily.
According to Reuters, the National Security spokesman at the White House, John Kirby, said that this pause will give people the opportunity to exit through two humanitarian corridors and is a significant first step.
