The North Korean foreign spokesperson said that the present grave situation witnessed by the world clearly proves that Israel is a cancer-like entity for peace in the Middle East, condemning Tel Aviv for violating Iran’s sovereignty and committing “crimes against humanity.”
In a statement broadcast by state outlet KCNA, it blamed the U.S. and the West for enabling the attacks.
“The present grave situation witnessed by the world clearly proves that Israel, supported and patronized by the US and the West, is a cancer-like entity for the peace in the Middle East and a chief culprit of destroying global peace and security.”
Meanwhile, Israel’s Defense Minister Katz threatens to eliminate Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Earlier, Iranian missiles caused serious damage at four sites in central and southern Israel, including at the Soroka hospital, while Israeli forces attacked Iran’s Arak heavy water reactor.
The death toll from Israel’s attacks on Iran has risen to more than 240, including 70 women and children. At least 24 people have been killed in Iranian attacks on Israel.
Meanwhile in Gaza, at least 81 people have been killed in Israeli attacks as desperate Palestinians continue to seek food amid an ongoing hunger crisis.
