WASHINGTON: The White House has said that Israel has agreed to suspend operations in northern Gaza for four hours a day.
According to Reuters, US national security spokesman John Kirby said in a statement that the standoff will allow people to leave through two humanitarian corridors and is an important first step.
Kirby said that the Israelis told us that no military action would be taken in these areas during the standoff and this process is starting today.
