The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to launch a seamless online payment system, enhancing efficiency and transparency in financial transactions.
As part of the initiative, all utility bill payments will transition to a fully digital, cashless platform. The decision was finalized during the fourth CDA Board meeting, chaired by Muhammad Ali Randhawa and attended by all board members.
“This is a major step towards digitalization and improving customer convenience,” a CDA official said. “Residents of Islamabad will now be able to pay their water bills, property taxes, and other service charges online, eliminating the need for in-person visits.”
The meeting also highlighted that payments for 165 services at the One Window Operation have already been digitized. Additionally, QR code-based cashless payments have been introduced for water tanker charges and Islamabad Water accounts.
