PML-N leader and former finance minister Ishaq Dar has said elections will be held in January 2024.
He reiterated elections might be held in the next month and his party did not have any objection, he said while talking to a private TV.
“Constituencies are being demarcated as per the constitution after which the election will be held. PTI should contest elections,” he said hopping that PTI would contest the election and not boycott it.
“Anyone in the PML-N could be the finance minister and Shehbaz Sharif should be in the federation,” he said, adding that Nawaz Sharif’s case would take few weeks.

Nawaz Sharif would be the next prime minister, he added, saying further former chief justice had said there should be no disqualification in cases of Nawaz Sharif.
Dar went on saying the party top leadership would be deciding the fate of Punjab and the PMLN narrative was important even today.
“We are not like the PTI chairman. The PTI chairman is left alone even by the founding members of the party. Chartered of Democracy is near to my heart, the former finance minister,” concluded.
