Indian film director Om Raut’s mythological movie titled ‘Adipurush’ featuring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan has been facing challenges at the box office.
There are many reasons behind the challenge the highly budgeted movie is facing. One of the reasons can be due to controversies surrounding its depiction of Hindu Gods and the use of ‘vagabond’ dialogues.
Moreover, negative reviews and severe criticism have significantly impacted its performance in theaters, resulting in a decline in numbers with each passing day amidst the uproar.
Within ten days of its release, the movie experienced another drop in its box office collections, earning only Rs 3.25 crore. The total collection now stands at Rs 264.80 crore.

The final verdict is yet to be determined, but considering the disappointing numbers, it seems that the film has failed to meet expectations. This is the third consecutive flop for Prabhas after ‘Radhe Shyam’ and ‘Saaho’, as the actor has failed to repeat the box office charm of his historic blockbuster ‘Baahubali’.
The film, which was released on June 16, has been directed and co-written by Om Raut, and produced by T-Series and Retrophiles.
