Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has announced that a new monsoon system is expected to enter Karachi starting tomorrow, bringing the fourth spell of rain to the city on August 4 and 5. This monsoon system is predicted to deliver light to moderate rain, with occasional thunderstorms likely on Sunday.
The port city is currently experiencing both light and heavy rains across various areas, providing a welcome change to the weather. Regions affected include Guru Mandir, Garden, Liaquatabad, Nazimabad, Tower, and II Chundrigar Road, offering much-needed relief from the summer heat.
According to the Met Department, the weather in the city is cloudy, with light rain expected to continue into the evening, enhancing the overall pleasant atmosphere.
Currently, Karachi is experiencing a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 87%. Winds are blowing at a rate of 32 km per hour, contributing to the overall coolness.
