Since morning, a hashtag of Sherlock Holmes has been trending on social media and by that, you might have thought Henry Cavill who recently starred in a movie reprising the famous detective’s role but to our surprise, Twitterati’s Sherlock Holmes is nonother than Imran Khan.
Freedom of journalism is unquestioningly a good thing. However, sometimes liberation comes with a cost. The same happened with Imran Khan who gave interviewed by Chinese media.
During the interview, the interviewer called the ex-prime minister ‘Sherlock Holmes’ on the basis of his suspecting the opposition party of the attack.

According to the interview, she compared Khan to Holmes because he was acting a bit like Sherlock Holmes. However, netizens did not take the interview well and mocked the Chinese journalist immature and disrespectful.
