Since the movie ‘A Haunting in Venice’ has hit theatres across the world, the audience has been wondering if the movie is based on a novel.
Before reading the article further, it is to be noted that the newly released movie is a sequel to Death on the Nile which was released in 2022.
Plot
The movie plot starts with the events of Death on the Nile. A detective named Hercule Poirot is now living in Venice and has given up the detective profession. However, he gets easily pulled back in by his old friend and renowned mystery writer (Christie really copied and pasted herself), Ariadne Oliver, played by Tina Fey.

He is invited to a séance and begrudgingly attends against his opposition. Things take an interesting turn at the event when one of the guests is murdered at the haunted palazzo where the séance is held. The film is also the sequel to Death on the Nile (2022).
