Iran and 3 European countries will hold nuclear talks on Friday, which may reduce rising tensions in the region, as reported by international media.
According to details, Iran and 3 European powers will hold nuclear talks on Friday in the Turkish city of Istanbul. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement confirming the talks with the 3 countries.
The spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Iran and the 3 European countries will hold nuclear talks in Istanbul on Friday (July 25). These talks will take place between the deputy foreign ministers of Iran, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
All three European countries had warned that failure to resume nuclear talks would result in international sanctions on Iran. So far, Iran maintains its previous stance that the old nuclear agreement will not be reinstated.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that Iran will not return to the old agreement. The United Kingdom, Germany, and France have no legal, political, or moral justification to enforce the 2015 agreement.
Abbas Araghchi said that the European countries had supported the aggression of Israel and the United States against Iran.
Earlier, Iran had agreed in the 2015 nuclear agreement to limit its stockpile of enriched uranium — used as fuel in nuclear reactors and in the production of nuclear weapons — for 15 years.
