Actress Iqra Aziz, who took a short break from the showbiz industry, is all set to make a comeback on the television screen.
The Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 actress will be seen in a murder mystery called ‘Aik Thi Laila’ which will air on ‘Express Entertainment’ in October.
Iqra Aziz and her husband Yasir Hussain will be working together on the project and Yasir Hussain will also be directing the project.
Taking to their official Instagram account, the couple shared the happy news and shared a picture as well. “First time directing this superstar”, Iqra captioned the picture.

‘Aik Thi Laila’ is being produced by Hina Amaan. Besides Iqra Aziz, the project features Faysal Quraishi, Gul-e-Rana, Hasan Ahmed, Nayyar Ejaz, Faiza Iftikhar, and Fareeha Jabeen.
Aziz was last seen in the series Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 portraying Mahi opposite Feroze Khan which aired last year. Aziz is known for her leading roles in shows like Deewana (2016), Choti Si Zindagi (2016), Natak (2016), Qurban (2018), Suno Chanda (2018), Tabeer (2018), Ranjha Ranjha Kardi (2018) and Jhooti (2020).
