This day is observed annually on May 21 and was first recognised by the United Nations in 2019. The theme for this day is ‘Sip, Share, and Celebrate’.
This day may be celebrated to raise public awareness about the cultural and economic significance of tea around the world but for Pakistanis, tea is something that is considered to be an emotion for us.
