Infinix GT 20 Pro, the successor to last year’s Infinix GT 10 Pro, made its debut in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, April 28th. Designed especially for gaming enthusiasts, this cutting-edge handset boasts a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC and can be equipped with up to 12GB of RAM.
Infinix GT 20 Pro design and specifications
Sporting a familiar cyber mecha design, the Infinix GT 20 Pro features captivating RGB mini-LED light effects on its rear panel. Its triple-camera setup, led by a 108-megapixel primary sensor, ensures stunning photography. Notably, it has been chosen as the official gaming phone for the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL).
One of its standout features is the Pixelworks X5 Turbo dedicated gaming display chip, making it Infinix’s inaugural dual-chip smartphone. This chip leverages Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) game frame rate interpolation to elevate frame rates from 60 FPS to an impressive 120 FPS, delivering an incredibly smooth gaming experience and enhancing picture quality.
Moreover, the Infinix GT 20 Pro incorporates a stable frame-rate engine to maintain consistent performance during gaming sessions. Infinix claims it can achieve a native frame rate of up to 120 FPS with “ultra-stable operation” for up to one hour. Popular games like Free Fire, Call Of Duty (COD), and PUBG can reach up to 90 FPS, while Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail can hit the coveted 120 FPS mark.
For professional esports scenarios, the Infinix GT 20 Pro offers an Esports Mode, promising performance on par with gaming consoles. To prevent overheating during intense gaming sessions, it incorporates a VC liquid cooling system that is 73% larger than its predecessor, along with enhanced thermal conductivity in the primary heat source area. Additionally, a Phase Change Material (PCM) sheet, 68% larger, helps dissipate heat efficiently.
Available in Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue colors, the Infinix GT 20 Pro will come in configurations of 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB.
