India cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh welcomed their second child, a baby boy, on 15th November 2024.
The couple, already parents to daughter Samaira, welcomed their son in a Mumbai hospital.
There were several reports that suggested that Rohit Sharma and his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, have welcomed their second child. But there wasn’t any clarity as there was no official confirmation. However, now the news has been made public by the captain himself.
Rohit Sharma, along with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, posted the picture on their Instagram account. They shared the graphic art of their family, which had “Family, the one where we are four” written on it. The art featured a couple and their two kids.
Rohit’s colleagues and fellow cricketers, including Suryakumar Yadav, have been quick to offer their congratulations on the birth of his son.
Suryakumar Yadav, who led India to victory in their recent T20I series against South Africa, posted a message of support on social media, expressing his best wishes for both Sharma’s family and his upcoming Test series in Australia.
“Many, many congratulations to him and his family. It’s the best news on a perfect day,” Suryakumar Yadav said, referring to the team’s victory in Johannesburg.
