LAHORE: India has confirmed participation of its baseball team in the 15th West Asia Baseball Cup to be held in Islamabad from Dec 20 to 24.
According to Pakistan Federation Baseball president Fakhar Ali Shah, the Baseball Federation of Asia had allotted the event to Pakistan and after invitations were sent to all member countries, India joined Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Palestine in confirming their participation.
He said the tournament would be held in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Board.
Fakhar Ali Shah further said that replies from Nepal and Iran regarding their participation in the event were still awaited.
