RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army has denied the controversial statements made by the Indian Army Chief regarding the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) and said that India should not consider the ceasefire on the LoC as a weakness.
In a Twitter message, the ISPR wrote that the statement of the Indian Army Chief regarding the ceasefire on the pretext of force on the LOC was misleading. Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire in negotiations to protect Kashmiris living on both sides of the LOC, he tweeted.Â
Indian COAS claiming LOC ceasefire holding because they negotiated from position of strength,is clearly misleading. It was agreed only due to Pak’s concerns 4 safety of ppl of Kashmir living on both sides of LOC. No side should misconstrue it as their strength or other’s weakness
