After Pakistan’s strong response to Indian aggression, India has become disoriented and has started reaching out to the Arab world to help reduce tensions. In response to the escalating situation, the United Arab Emirates has urged both countries to avoid further confrontation and pursue de-escalation through dialogue.
According to diplomatic sources, Indian officials have contacted Arab countries, especially officials from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), requesting them to use their influence on Pakistan to reduce tensions.
Sources said that India has appealed to Arab rulers to mediate in the Pakistan-India conflict. However, Pakistan has made it clear that responding to Indian aggression is its right, and it will not accept any pressure when it comes to its defense.
UAE’s response
Regarding Pakistan-India tensions, the United Arab Emirates has appealed to both countries to avoid escalation. UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah said, “Pakistan and India should avoid tensions, as this could pose a threat to regional and global peace.”
He emphasized that “it is important to resolve issues through dialogue and mutual understanding.” This development occurred after the Pakistan Air Force shot down five Indian fighter jets in response to Indian aggression, captured several soldiers, and the Pakistan Army destroyed Indian military installations along the Line of Control (LoC).
