India must explain avoiding cricket in Pakistan: Mohammad Amir

Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir has stated that everything happened because of the ICC, and if no team wants to play, another team should be included. There must be a valid reason for refusing to play.

In a statement, Mohammad Amir said that Pakistan has not yet hosted the Champions Trophy, as this decision was made long ago. Pakistan has invested a lot of money in upgrading its grounds.

He stated that it is unacceptable for a team to spend such money and then announce they won’t play, suggesting that the tournament should be postponed. There must be a valid reason for not playing and postponing the tournament.

The cricketer mentioned that England and Bangladesh teams have already played in Pakistan, and if one refuses to play, they should provide strong reasons, but right now, there is no reason at all.

The fast bowler further stated that if this is a matter of pride, then it should be yours, and it should be kept separate. If you want to play, then play. Pakistan’s hosting is always great.

Mohammad Amir also said that he would hold the ICC responsible for this situation, as everything has happened because of them. If someone doesn’t want to play, they should replace that team with another one and go ahead with the tournament.
