India has unveiled its 15-man squad for the Champions Trophy, with key players Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav making the cut. The final squad for the tournament remains provisional and can be altered until February 11.
Ahead of the Champions Trophy, which kicks off on February 19, India will play three bilateral One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against England. These matches, scheduled for February 6, 9, and 12, will mark India’s first 50-over games since their tour of Sri Lanka in August 2024.
India has been placed in Group A of the Champions Trophy and will begin their campaign on February 20, facing Bangladesh. The team will then play against Pakistan on February 23, followed by a match with New Zealand on March 2.
Due to ongoing government restrictions preventing travel to Pakistan, all of India’s Champions Trophy matches will be held in Dubai.
Here is India’s squad for the 2025 Champions Trophy:
- Rohit Sharma (captain)
- Shubman Gill (vice-captain)
- Virat Kohli
