The first international film festival was held in Saudi Arabia after a two-year wait.
The film festival was held in the coastal city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and was attended by leading showbiz personalities from around the world, including the United Kingdom, France, Egypt, and India.
The 10-day film festival will screen more than 135 films from around the world, mostly in Arabic.
The film festival will include movies in other languages, including English, French, Spanish, Hindi, Bengali, and Malayalam.
The film festival will continue till 15th December.
Dance and art programs will also be organized while important personalities will also be interviewed.
The festival’s films are divided into 11 sections, which will also feature Saudi Arabian culture, including shard films.
The festival aims to improve the Saudi film industry and bring the kingdom’s cinema to the world stage.
