KARACHI: The Christian community in Pakistan has celebrated the Christmas festival like elsewhere in the world today (Friday).
Houses were decorated with colourful lights, flags, and balloons. Christmas trees were set up, gifts were purchased for children, and prayers were offered for the peace and prosperity of the country.
But this year’s church services and events are being attended by far fewer people because of the coronavirus outbreak. Social distancing and wearing masks are now the new musts in many places. Here’s a glimpse of the celebrations.
