ISLAMABAD: Former Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari has expressed her extreme displeasure by accusing Private TV Channel (Hum News) of heavily editing Imran Khan’s interview.
Taking to Twitter, she described the alleged heavy editing by private TV channel as shameful, adding that the same channel had also uploaded the heavily edited version on digital platform.
Hum News say Unka News! Imran Khan interview not allowed to run on mainstream channel! Kinka News? Bus sub ko patta to hai! Dark clouds casting Invisible shadows. #CensorshipInPakistan

Referring to invisible forces allegedly responsible for this ‘heavy editing,’ she said “Dark Clouds casting invisible shadows.”
It may be recalled here that PEMRA had banned the live broadcast of the speeches of former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan, a decision which was subsequently challenged by the PTI in the court of law.
In August, the Islamabad High Court suspended the orders of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) regarding ban on live telecast of Imran Khan’s speeches, and had issued notices to the relevant parties.
