MIANWALI: The former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has once again hinted to reveal the names of four personnel who are planning to assassinate him, adding that PML-N started a new game of fake audios.
This is not the first time the PTI chairman has claimed that his life is in danger; following his removal from the Prime Minister’s Office, Khan and the officials of his party repeatedly asserted that assassination plans were being developed.
While speaking to a jalsa in Mianwali, the former premier said, “The tape, which includes the names of four persons, will be revealed if something happens to me.”
Khan informed today’s jalsa that if he were to be slain, the plotters would say that a “religious fanatic has killed me” without naming the individuals who were attempting to have him killed.
The PTI chairman, who has been at odds with the current administration and intends to organize a lengthy march in an effort to remove the authorities from office, declared that “the individuals formulating plans against me will fail.”
Khan said: “We are planning to start a “fill the jail campaign,” hinting that his party’s members and leaders would not heed the government’s threats to imprison them and prevent his “Azadi March” from happening.
The PTI chairman further stated that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) were being staffed by the current authorities with their “own people”.
The former prime minister explained the selections’ motivation, stating that the power brokers wanted their corruption issues resolved.
Khan continued by saying that the government was leaking “false” audios because it was “facing defeat” on all fronts.
“Maryam Nawaz has made all these fake audios, but remember nowadays, it is not difficult to make such deepfake videos and we can do the same,” Imran said at a rally in Mianwali today.
In the evening, PTI’s former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi also characterized the audios as “fake”.

Imran added that it was a “matter of anxiety” that the prime minister’s phone lines were being tapped in his speech and described the audio leaks from the PM’s office as a “severe security problem.”
“I ask our intelligence agencies […] Your duty is to guard the PM Office, and if any of these details are released, it is your duty to handle this,” the speaker said. Instead of scaring individuals and engaging in political engineering, you ought to comprehend [this].
