LAHORE: Chairman PTI and former Prime Minister Imran Khan will address a rally in Punjab capital.
Preparations for the PTI meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan ground have been finalized as workers continue to arrive at the venue. The stage was 120 feet long and 40 feet high. The administration has claimed to have provided 50,000 seats for the participants in the venue.
Around 15 Fifteen large screens have been installed to show Imran Khan’s speech at the meeting. Towers of 25 loudspeakers and 900 lights have also been installed. Upon the arrival of Chairman Imran Khan, fireworks will be set off in the hall for 15 minutes. 300,000 flags will also be distributed among the participants of the hall.
The meeting management has also installed internet boosters at three places in the meeting hall due to reports of internet shutdown. Punjab Police has also made arrangements to provide foolproof security to the participants of the rally.
More than 4,000 police officers and youths will be on duty at the rally. 10 SPs, 25 SDPOs, 59 SH Oz, 207 Upper Subordinates, 234 Ladies Policemen. According to the CCPO, an integrated traffic plan has been formulated for the convenience of the citizens and the flow of traffic. More than 660 traffic officers and personnel will perform their duties.
Special parking zones have been set up at various places for the vehicles of the participants of the meeting. Continuous monitoring will also be done through the cameras of Safe City Authorities.
