ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has pledged that if he were to come to power, he would not have de-notified anyone.
Talking informally to newsmen at his arrival at Islamabad High Court (IHC) to seek bail in multiple cases, Khan said “the Army Chief is solely responsible for all situations and events, and he is afraid that I will remove him from his position after assuming power. He claimed that nothing could have been done to me without his consent and approval.”
He further said he had messaged ‘a person’ multiple times to assure that he would not de-notify after coming to power.

He went on to say that attempt on his life was made for the second time in the judicial complex, adding that if he had gone inside the complex, he would have been killed. Khan claimed that the ISI had complete control of the judicial complex.
Imran Khan said that despite being on bail for all cases, I was arrested as if I were a terrorist. He questioned how I could be held responsible for events that occurred after my arrest.
Khan also spoke about being hit on the head during his arrest and questioned how he could stop anything while being in custody, saying he had earlier warned of reaction (to his arrest). When asked about the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) attitude, Khan said that he believed it was right.
During the course of conversation, Khan also expressed his love for his country and its people, stating that both were his. He revealed that he had been tortured while in the high court and had been arrested by Rangers. Despite this, he maintained that his people were peaceful and that he would not resist arrest.
When a journalist asked Khan if he had confidence in the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Imran Khan declined to comment on the matter.
