SIALKOT: The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan blasted ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ (unknown personnel) for calling from unknown number and threatening members of his party as well as other citizens. He was addressing lawyers’ community at Sialkot Bar.
Imran Khan asked as to why hell was broken loose on Azam Swati for merely a tweet, why he was stripped naked and tortured? He said ‘Na Maloom afraad’ were violating Pakistan’s constitution, and just a call from them was enough to frighten everyone.
Paying tributes to prominent slain journalist who was assassinated in Kenya, Imran Khan said Arshad Sharif was the Number One journalist in Pakistan who stood firm on the path of truthfulness. He further said that journos like Arshad Sharif, brave and honest, were like assets to any nation. He said after coming to know about threats to his life, ‘I asked Arshad Sharif twice to leave the country.”
Referring to Pakistan’s justice system, Imran Khan said he compared country’s system with that of Europe and concluded that no country could achieve development unless and until it gave value to rule of law. He said our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) laid the foundation of society on the pillars of justice and law.

Imran Khan said Shehbaz Sharif was bound to be indicted, and Asif Zardari was generally known as Mr Ten Percent, but an entire gang of thieves was imposed upon us as rulers. He said 60 percent of the cabinet members were on bail, and some of those convicted by courts were taking decisions about country’s future. He further said that prisons across the country were full of the poor class, while the ‘big dacoits’ were roaming around freely.
