WAZIRABAD: The person who assassinated Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former prime minister Imran Khan has been identified as Muhammad Naveed son of Muhammad Bashir.
According to the details, the person who attacked Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has been identified.
Police say that the name of the attacker who fired at Imran Khan’s container is Muhammad Naveed. In his video statement, the attacker said he was tracing Imran Khan from Lahore and reached Wazirabad on motorbike.
He ruled out any hand behind him and said he wanted to kill Imran Khan as according to him Imran Khan was ‘deceiving’ masses.
Earlier, the video of the person who attacked Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan was revealed.
It can be seen in the video that as soon as the assailant took out his pistol to fire, the person standing behind grabbed him and turned his gun upwards, thwarting the attack.
Meanwhile, more PTI workers present there came running and caught the assailant and took him away.
It should be remembered that Imran Khan’s convoy was attacked as soon as he entered Wazirabad for the real freedom march, as a result of which he was injured by a bullet in the leg.
