IIFA Awards: Here are all the winners

The three-day event of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2024 commenced in grand style at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on Friday, September 27, and will also remain today and tomorrow.

The mega showbiz event is bringing together the who’s who of the Indian film industry. During the event awards will be given to the finest talents from Indian cinema.

Day one of the IIFA Awards started with IIFA Utsavam 2024. The night, hosted by actors like Rana Daggubati, and Teja Sajja among others, saw some of the biggest names in the industry take home prestigious awards.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Best Actress award for her stunning performance in Ponniyin Selvan: II, while Mani Ratnam bagged the Best Director award for the same film. Other notable winners included Dhanush, who won Best Actor for his role in Vaathi, and Sai Pallavi, who took home the Best Actress award for her performance in Gargi.

• Best Picture: Jailer
• Best Actor: Vikram (Ponniyin Selvan: II)
• Best Actress: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Ponniyin Selvan: II)
• Best Director: Mani Ratnam (Ponniyin Selvan: II)
• Best Music Direction: AR Rahman (Ponniyin Selvan: II)
• Best Performance in a Negative Role: SJ Suryah (Mark Antony)
• Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Male): Jayaram (Ponniyin Selvan: II)
• Performance in a Supporting Role (Female): Sahasra Shree (Chithha)
