Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s warm interaction at the IIFA 2025 press conference in Jaipur left fans buzzing, as reported by Indian media.

According to a report by Indian Express, the former couple hugged and exchanged pleasantries, sparking excitement among their followers. Addressing their brief reunion, Shahid downplayed the moment, saying it was nothing unusual for them.

Speaking at the IIFA Digital Awards, he said, “For us, it’s nothing new… we met on stage today, but we often cross paths. It’s totally normal for us. If people felt happy seeing it, that’s nice.”

This wasn’t the first time the two had a public encounter. At the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024, Kareena walked past Shahid while he was posing with filmmakers Raj & DK. Though she greeted Raj, she chose to ignore Shahid, who maintained a smile throughout.

Shahid and Kareena dated in the 2000s before parting ways in 2007. During their relationship, they co-starred in films like Fida, Chup Chup Ke, 36 China Town, Milenge Milenge, and the iconic Jab We Met. Director Imtiaz Ali once revealed that the duo had broken up towards the end of Jab We Met’s shooting.
