ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court has dismissed the petition filed for the disqualification of Ali Wazir, a member of the National Assembly of Pashtun Protection Movement (PTM).
IHC Chief Justice Athar Manullah conducted the hearing in which the petitioner requested the court to disqualify the MNA Ali Minister under Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
The judge during the hearing turned down the petition and declared it invalid in the court.
Chief Justice Athar Manullah termed the petition as unwarranted and remarked that the constitutional requirements were not fulfilled in the petition.
It should be remembered that earlier, Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry demanded Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser take action against the PMM leader Ali Wazir.
He took this to Twitter about two weeks ago, where he wrote that told Ali Wazir was destroying Pakistan’s cities with foreign powers that were not loyal to Pakistan.
