ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the decision of NADRA to terminate the citizenship of former Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) senator Maulana Hafiz Hamdullah.
The case of Hafiz Hamdullah’s termination of Pakistani citizenship was heard at IHC.

In this regard, Hamdullah’s lawyer Kamran Murtaza informed the court that his client is a senator, contested election six times.
HE added, “My client had been a provincial assembly member, his whole family holds a Pakistani passport. A son of his is also serving in the Pak army.”
The Chief Justice inquired as to who turned down the ID card. The lawyer said that Pakistani citizenship was dismissed by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
