ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has rejected the bail plea of Haleem Adil Sheikh, former president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh and leader of opposition in the Sindh Assembly.
According to details, the Islamabad High Court today heard the security bail application of the Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly. Haleem Adil Sheikh’s lawyer had asked the court to grant bail to the opposition leader for attending the Sindh Assembly session today.
During the hearing of the petition, the Islamabad High Court refused to grant security bail. Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that the court had already granted security bail to the opposition leader in a case.

The lawyer informed the court that the Sindh government wanted to prevent the opposition leader from attending the budget meeting by implicating him in false cases. Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that the Islamabad High Court could not come under the jurisdiction of the Sindh High Court.
The court rejected the bail plea of the petitioner Haleem Adil Sheikh after concluding the arguments of his lawyer. The Chief Justice remarked that we had given 3 weeks security bail to the Leader of the Opposition, he had to appear in the relevant court.
