ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday barred authorities from arresting Haroon Yusuf Aziz, son in law of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is wanted in a case of ‘assets beyond known means of income’.

Earlier, MM News learnt that Haroon Yusuf Aziz was scheduled to land in Islamabad this evening, at around 7:35 pm. He is wanted by Lahore NAB court for failing to appear in ‘assets beyond known means of income’ case.

This came within two weeks after IHC issued orders stopping the authorities from arresting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s son Suleman Shehbaz from the airport on his arrival to Pakistan and asked him to surrender before the court by December 13. He too was wanted in money laundering case.

MM News has further learnt that Haroon Yusuf Aziz would appear before the Islamabad High Court tomorrow (Thursday) to get protective bail.
