Actress Iffat Rahim Omer, who is currently acting in the drama serial ‘Aye Musht-e-Khaak’, has just criticized the drama quite openly.
Iffat Omar is playing the role of Feroze Khan’s mother in the drama. She recently appeared in an interview where she talked about the backlash the drama has been receiving and said that she also disagrees with the violence being shown on television screens.
According to Omer, she hated the script upon reading it. She further went on to explain the reason behind still accepting the project. According to her, it is after all her profession and she has to choose something to do.
“In all the scripts I read, I found my role to be meatier and better in Aye Musht-e-Khaak. Otherwise, I do not agree with the drama at all,” said Omer.

‘Aye Musht E Khak’ is an ongoing popular drama, it has been directed by Ahsun Talish and written by Maha Malik. The drama cast includes Feroze Khan, Sana Javed, Iffat Omar, Nimra Khan, and Asad Siddiqui.
The character Mustejab, played by Khan has been termed as toxic by netizens and a lot of questions were already being raised about the character by the public. Two scenes of the drama have already gone viral for all the odd reasons and now it is another scene that grabbed public attention for being too over the top.
In the latest clip, Mustejab can be sitting with his mother and continuously shouting with his mother about his marital issues. The shouting is pretty much louder and it is kind of irritating, it is hardly understood what he’s saying.
