Actress and host Iffat Omar has said that she has always kept her daughter independent and does not want her daughter to be her support in old age, as reported by national media on Tuesday.
According to details, Iffat Omar recently appeared on Sama TV’s morning show, where she openly spoke about her relationship with her daughter. She said that she never imposed any restrictions on her daughter and that her daughter makes all her life decisions herself.
She said that her daughter can seek her advice whenever she wants, but she herself never interferes in her daughter’s matters. The actress stated that she loves her daughter immensely and whenever her daughter wants to talk to her, she puts everything aside and listens to her.

She further revealed that her daughter chose her life partner herself, and she never believed in telling her daughter what to do or what not to do. According to the actress, as parents, they fully supported every decision their daughter made, and today their daughter is happy.
Iffat Omar also said that as a parent, it is her duty to take care of her daughter, but it is not her daughter’s obligation to take care of her. According to her, it is not her daughter’s responsibility to be her support in old age.
