KARACHI: Sindh Education and Labour Minister Saeed Ghani has expressed that he is sure that the former leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly and current PTI member Firdous Shamim Naqvi will not resign.
In his message on Twitter, Saeed Ghani wrote, “I am sure Firdous Shamim Naqvi will not resign because PTI knows that PPP will also win a seat in the by-elections.”
مجھے یقین ہے فردوس شمیم نقوی کل استعفی نہیں دیگا کیونکہ پی ٹی آئی کو معلوم ہے کہ ضمنی الیکشن میں نقوی کی سیٹ بھی پیپلز پارٹی جیت لے گی۔ یہ الگ بات ہے کہ اگر پی ٹی آئی کی اندرونی لڑائی اتنی بڑھ گئی ہو کہ فردوس شمیم بالکل ہی ناقابل برداشت ہو گیا ہو۔

Saeed Ghani wrote that it was a different matter that if the infighting of PTI had escalated to such an extent that Firdous Shamim Naqvi had become completely unbearable, then he would resign. Otherwise, the Sindh government will not get his resignation, he tweeted.
It may be recalled that earlier Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah had said that the resignation of Firdous Shamim Naqvi was his own choice. Talking to the media outside the Sindh Assembly yesterday, Nasir Hussain Shah said that what is happening in the Sindh Assembly has not been witnessed before. Such a situation has never happened in the Assembly, these people are not eligible to be members of the Assembly, he said.

Earlier, the ongoing confrontation between the government and the opposition in the Sindh Assembly did not abate, while senior PTI leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi resigned from the assembly.
Talking to the media at the Sindh Assembly premises yesterday, Firdous Shamim Naqvi said that they have been watching the cremation of democracy for the last three years.
