SRINAGAR: Hurriyat leaders in occupied Kashmir have commended the government and the people of Pakistan for extending their complete political, diplomatic and moral support to the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir.
In connection with Pakistan’s decision to mark 05 February as Kashmir Solidarity Day. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the Chairman of the Hurriyat Forum in a message said, the Kashmiri people want to see a politically stable and economically prosperous Pakistan.

In Birmingham, the Conservative Party leader in the UK parliament addressed a conference on Kashmir and vowed to raise the matter of Indian massacres of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the floor of the House.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to visit Muzaffarabad on Wednesday to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir. Preparations are underway to observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day across the country.
