The chemical examination reports of the samples taken from the body of model and actress Humaira Asghar, who was found dead in her apartment in Defence Phase 6, have been received. The official cause of death will be announced soon.
According to details, investigations into the mysterious death of actress Humaira Asghar are ongoing. Authorities stated that nine samples from Humaira Asghar’s body were sent to the forensic lab at Karachi University.
However, police say the chemical examination reports of the samples taken from the actress’s body have arrived. The chemical analysis did not find any evidence of poisoning. The DIG South stated that the official cause of death will be disclosed by the MLO (Medico-Legal Officer) tomorrow.
The keys to Humaira Asghar’s apartment have been taken into custody. Three keys to the main door of the apartment were found inside the flat. The building management, security guard, and the actress’s former domestic worker are being investigated.
Investigating officials said that the building management, security guard, and domestic worker have been questioned. All of them were in contact with Humaira Asghar until October 2024, while the domestic worker had left her job sometime in 2024.
According to investigators, it appears Humaira Asghar was under financial stress. She did her last commercial shoot in September 2024 and remained in contact with people regarding work until October 2024.
Investigating officials also said that there are no CCTV cameras outside or around the apartment.
